When Autumn came
Changing temperatures, long-sleeved jackets and warm plaids. The Summer is over and we are back at our jobs or at school. Last Autumn, Emelie Sundberg and Emma Johansson/What Decorates My Day did an autumn interpretation with products from Strömshaga and we got to follow them during a day in October. Here we take a look at Emelie's home office decorated with cozy lighting and beautiful interior details. Surely we work better with candles and nice things around us?

The round vase with etched pattern is perfect for a large bouquet of hops and hydrangeas at Emelie’s writing desk. The rotatable blackboard is perfect for the to do-list or quote of the day. Use crayons or water-based pencils for the sign.
Candlelight helps to create a calm and cozy atmosphere even on a working day. The Göte candle holder is attached with a screw to the edge of a desk, in a window sill or a shelf and fits extra well in an office. The candlestick is available in three colors; black, antique brass or silver and comes in two heights. Candle holder Ingrid and matching bowl make a great couple in a still life arrangement.

What about lighting? Good lighting is important in your workspace. In addition to task lightning for computer work and other focus-intensive tasks, we also need some decorative lighting around the space. The Sofia wall lamp in brushed antique brass with lamp shade in white glass is a great choice! Attach the lamp on a wall in a corner, above a side table or next to an armchair when the desk chair needs to be replaced with something more comfortable. This wall light has a unique design with an industrial touch and becomes a real eye-catcher wherever it’s placed!

Are you looking forward to autumn? Maybe start some new good habits, get better at keeping things in order and finish one or another project that has been left behind ... Or, you know what? We also think autumn is for recovery and coziness. Light a candle, walk in the woods and eat and drink well. Just relax!
