This product is crafted by skilled artisans in India in accordance with WFTO's 10 Principles of Fair Trade. The company helps lift economically disadvantaged groups out of poverty and creates new opportunities for a better life for the artisans and their families. In addition to fair wages and working conditions, the company runs its own social projects. Among other initiatives, it operates three schools with a total of 260 students, implements water purification and sanitation programs, and provides health check-ups.
