A beautiful round kerosene lamp in clear glass with beautifully white broidered flowers, a brass burner, and a clear glass burner tube. This kerosene lamp conveys a nostalgic feeling reminiscent of times gone by, while fitting perfectly into modern interior settings.

Suitable with wick item number 116210 and burner tubes with item number 121800G and 139410G. We recommend using Strömshaga’s odorless lamp oil (item number 100001) for this oil lamp, sold separately.

INSTRUCTIONS:
To fill with lamp oil and light the lamp:
The kerosene lamp should be extinguished and cold when refilling.

• Remove the burner tube and unscrew the burner.
• Fill with lamp oil, about 2/3 of the container. Use a funnel to reduce spillage.
• Screw the burner back on and allow the wick to soak for 20-30 minutes so it becomes wet.
• Light the lamp and adjust the flame so that it does not get too high by adjusting the wick up or down.
• Place the burner tube back.

Note! The burner tube may need to be adjusted to be straight. When the glass is upright, use the metal clamps on the burner to stabilize it.

To extinguish the lamp:
Extinguish the kerosene lamp by blowing out the flame or lowering the wick.

Changing the wick:
The old wick is pulled out from below, and the new one is inserted from below and screwed up to the correct height.

Things to consider:
When the lamp is lit, the burner tube is very hot. Place the lamp on a flat surface and not near flammable materials. Also, leave at least 1 meter of free space above the lamp.

The lamp is a primary light source, not a decoration. Keep the lamp under supervision and out of reach of children and pets. Lamp oil is highly toxic if ingested. If swallowed, even in small amounts, or if the wick is sucked on, do not induce vomiting but contact the Poison Information Center and a doctor.

Kerosene lamps were the most common type of lamp in Sweden from the late 1800s and well into the 1900s, until electric light became widely available. Our kerosene lamps are lighting sources designed for areas without electricity, such as on smaller boats, in cottages, and on balconies/terraces. Kerosene lamps can also be useful during power outages as they provide excellent light.
