Made from 100% jute, a fast-growing and biodegradable natural material, this product combines thoughtful design with sustainable craftsmanship. Each bag is handcrafted by skilled women artisans in Bangladesh through an organization that follows the WFTO’s 10 Principles of Fair Trade.
By creating opportunities for education, entrepreneurship, and craft-based work, the organization helps women in rural communities strengthen their economic independence and social standing. In addition to fair wages and safe working conditions, the artisans are offered leadership development and a voice in the business. Profits are reinvested into community projects that support access to clean water, sanitation, healthcare, and environmental initiatives.
With your purchase, you help create meaningful opportunities for thousands of women to build a more secure future for themselves and their families.
